Structure of CEMA Standard Belt Conveyor Troughing Idler
The structure of the conveyor idler mainly consists of steel tubes, shafts, bearing housings, bearings, labyrinth seals, Circlip, and lithium based lubricants.
1.Steel tubes:
High frequency welded tubes for belt conveyor troughing idlers are generally made of Q235A steel and Q235B steel, with a diameter range of 63.5-219.0mm. There are certain requirements for the curvature, perpendicularity between the end face and the centerline, and ellipticity of steel tubes.

3.Bearings:
Belt conveyor idler are equipped with 6000 series deep groove ball bearings, C3 or C4 clearance, double-sided rubber seals (2RS)or iron seals(2Z).The bearing should be filled with 60% -80% capacity lithium based grease.We can choose bearings from different brands such as HRB, SKF, FAG, NSK, etc. according to requirements.

4.Bearing Housings:
The material of the belt conveyor idler bearing housing should not be lower than Q235B steel. Before welding, the surface grease needs to be removed, and the outer diameter and bottom plane need to be machined. Closely match with the tubes.
5.Labyrinth seal：
Belt conveyor idler seals are divided into various types according to the type of conveyor idler, such as TD75, DTII, TR, TK, etc. conveyor idler seals should have good sealing performance, effectively prevent coal dust and water from entering the bearing, and protect the bearing from damage. The sealing end face of the sealing shall not have defects such as cracks, scratches, and air holes. The gap between the sealing rings should be filled with 60% -80% Lithium base grease.Operating temperature range:-25°C to 65°C.
6.Circlips:
The material of the Circlips is 65MN manganese steel, and C-type elastic snap ring is used.
